Tangles in Time is a short documentary film series that intimately explores the lives of caregivers. Brienne is a second-year nursing student at Jefferson University Hospital and the mother of a son who has autism. In this moving segment, Brienne describes her passion for nursing, the relentless challenges of raising a special needs child, and the joy and fulfillment that her son has brought to her life since the day he was born.
Produced by Packafoma Philms in collaboration with Thomas Jefferson University and Theater of Witness, with major support provided by the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, the complete series will be projected in conjunction with live performances at the Philadelphia Cathedral on September 13-14, 2019.
