The word “honored” is overused in social media posts, but I was indeed honored to contribute to this year’s CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute television special. CNN Heroes is a TV series that spotlights individuals who make extraordinary contributions to humanitarian aid and make a difference in their communities.
CNN producer Kathleen Toner hired me to shoot aerial videography for a segment spotlighting Tyrique Glasgow of Grays Ferry, Philadelphia. Tyrique is one of the top 10 nominees for 2022 CNN Hero of the Year and the founder of Young Chances Foundation, an organization dedicated to creating safe programming for urban youths of low resource families to thrive and live well.
